Extremely small machined parts 

Extremely small turning is the machining process where a cutting tool describes a tool path by moving more or less linearly while a work piece rotates. Precision is much more the focus. PHYNICX can provide solutions for parts which are only some mm’s in size.

In general, all nickel and cobalt based alloys can be turned in similar ways as stainless steel alloys like AISI 316, although cobalt content hardens the alloy and nickel content has impact on the length of the mill chips.
